Robert Kohr - Animation Director

This is the director talent behind Kohrtoons Studio: senior judgment for animation, VFX, shot construction, creative supervision, and the moments where production needs both taste and technical control.

Based out of Roslyn, New York, Robert Kohr is a 2x Emmy Award-winning Animation Director with over 20 years on Nickelodeon's marketing team. His work spans the full range of the network's output - from beloved preschool IPs like Dora the Explorer to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Loud House - across character animation, motion graphics, art direction, animation direction, and VFX supervision.

His debut film The Lift screened at 55+ festivals worldwide. He co-directed a short film for Legend of Korra (Silver BDA), earned Emmy nominations in 2014 and 2016, and won the Emmy in 2023 for Nickelodeon's network rebrand. Kohrtoons Studio is where two decades of broadcast craft get applied to brand, film, and live work that demands both technical precision and creative leadership.
